A guide to Wildlife Photography

Join me on a wildlife photography experience day.
A wildlife photographer needs skills like field skills, understanding animal behaviour, knowledge of camera equipment, composition and lighting skills to capture captivating shots of animals in their natural habitat. I’ll share the foundations of my wildlife photography skills and techniques that will help improve your chances and get you into a better position to get your shot.

Wildlife Photography + Outdoor Adventure

…A cold winters day and a little goldfinch clutches onto a frozen branch eking out the slightest warmth from the low winter sun. A red deer stag gives out a mighty roar as his warm breath meets the cold autumn air. The heart-thumping sight of an otter scampering along the shore just a couple meters away on a deserted Scottish beach…

As a wildlife photographer based in Oxfordshire. I've happily dedicated much of my time immersing myself into nature. My wildlife photography has led me on some epic adventures and the chance to experience many incredibly beautiful moments and in some challenging conditions right here in the UK.

As well as capturing beautiful wildlife images, for me, wildlife photography is about appreciation, respect, presence, focus, being aware of your surroundings and being in tune with nature. This sense and connection inspires me to head out rain or shine, each adventure starting right from my doorstep.

Thank you for visiting,
